Thank you, hoping to keep this card since it runs silent and cool. Of course, it is not clear WHICH of the 4 cables this is so the dual cable could be amongst the 3 primarily PCI-E cables drawing power. Also my understanding is that the card "only" uses around 450Watts most of the time and the 4th cable is for the full 600 watts, which the card rarely uses. I will confirm if I get any more drops with the swapped dual to single 8PIN pci-E cable. I ordered more 3 more single 8PIN connectors from EVGA but they don't arrive for a few days. I am only using 3 single pci-e power connectors and 1 dual from the PSU since EVGA only ships the PSU that way. I will check but when I installed it I confirmed the clip snapped in place so it was fully seated. I agree with the power connection, I think you might be on to something there. When I reinstalled the latest Nvidia drivers, I did a clean install checkbox, so that should be sufficient. I didn't try DDU since I think that is just taking a shot in the dark, perhaps I should format and reinstall Windows too. Temps are good, no issues, CPU and VRAM looked good, even under load, like 40-55C from what I recall under load. System instability in the OS is a no go for me.Ĭard works fine when gaming, no issues with temps or power or anything that I can tell. I work from the same device and after a reboot it may take me 10-15 minutes to catch up to where I was. However these crashes happened while in the desktop. So far it's actually be really stable and gaming has worked great. I already submitted a request with Newegg but figured I'd at least ask here in case it might be something obvious. Planning to return this if not solveable since I'm not willing to use or test any hardware for a manufacturer or NVIDIA for free and definitely not going to pay $1750+ for the pleasure of testing their hardware for them. I reinstalled the latest drivers after the card was installed. I had another one just now for FLTMGR.sys.The first one showed up in a mini dump as:īug Check 0x139: KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE I swapped to this card from an EVGA FTW 3080 and have since had 2 blue screens while using it.
